In a tragic incident in Cumberland, Wisconsin, a woman sustained serious injuries following an alleged assault by her son, Devin Baldwin, on Monday morning. The Cumberland Police Department responded to a welfare check call at approximately 9:30 a.m. after the woman’s husband reported hearing screaming during a phone call that abruptly disconnected.
Upon arrival, officers made contact with the victim, who confirmed the assault and revealed that her son was still inside the residence. Despite her injuries, she managed to leave the house and inform the authorities.
Standoff and Arrest:
