According to LVMPD, a Nissan Altima was traveling westbound on Desert Inn Road when a pedestrian suddenly crossed its path. The impact propelled the individual forward, while the vehicle came to a controlled stop.
The 29-year-old driver remained at the scene and showed no signs of impairment, authorities confirmed. Despite immediate life-saving efforts from emergency responders, the pedestrian was pronounced dead on-site.
