Tragic: Drunk Driver Speeds at 100 MPH, Kills 3 Kids & Grandmother

A family’s trip to the movies to celebrate a child’s birthday ended in tragedy when a speeding driver crashed into their car, killing a grandmother and three of her grandchildren in Miami Gardens, Florida.

Authorities say 25-year-old Antonio Wilcox Jr. was driving a black Kia Sorrento at nearly 100 mph when he slammed into the back of a white Nissan Altima around 6 p.m. on Saturday. The impact caused the Altima to hit a Cadillac Escalade, leading to a devastating accident. Wilcox is now facing four counts of vehicular manslaughter, with additional charges expected.

Inside the Altima were 51-year-old Rosa Mae Jones and her three grandchildren—10-year-old Kamari Graham, 10-year-old Ireanna Johnson, and 8-year-old Azariah McCall. Tragically, all four lost their lives in the crash. Two other adults and two children in the vehicle were also seriously injured. Reports indicate that at least three people in the Altima were not wearing seat belts.

The family was on their way to the movies to celebrate Kamari’s 10th birthday. However, their joyful evening turned into heartbreak due to the reckless actions of a speeding driver.
