Crime Stoppers of Saginaw County announced they are seeking the public’s help in the unsolved murders of Deonte Jackson and Bruce Banks, who were brutally killed on February 18, 2019, at a residence on South 23rd Street in Buena Vista Township.

According to investigators, police arrived at the crime scene to find Deonte Jackson dead, while Bruce Banks was rushed to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. Despite evidence found at the scene, including footprints in the snow leading toward 24th Street, authorities believe the suspect fled the area in a vehicle, leaving few other clues behind.

The case has remained open for six years, with no arrests made, adding to the heartbreak of the victims’ families. In an effort to bring justice to Jackson and Banks, Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $2,500 for information that leads to a felony arrest.
