SHOCKING CONNECTION: Pennsylvania Stabbing Suspect Investigated in Upstate NY Murder

Authorities in New York are investigating whether a Pennsylvania man accused of a brutal trail-side stabbing is also responsible for the unsolved murder of a Vietnam veteran last year.

Anthony Quesen, who has also gone by the name Antonia Kaseim, has been named a “person of interest” in the April 2024 killing of 76-year-old Daniel Frament. Frament, a retired lawyer and veteran, was attacked along the Empire State Trail in Menands, a suburb of Albany, and died from severe head trauma.

Though investigators have yet to establish a direct link between Quesen and Frament’s death, the case bears eerie similarities to another tragic attack six months later. On October 21, 2024, 44-year-old Benjamin Brallier, a Pennsylvania State Police Liquor Control Enforcement agent, was stabbed to death while jogging along the Montour Trail in Moon, Pennsylvania.

A blood trail and a distinctive yellow bicycle at the scene led investigators to Quesen, who was found less than a mile away near the Montour Woods Conservation Area. Officers reported that he had blood on his pants and socks and suffered cuts on his hands. When confronted, Quesen allegedly volunteered an explanation—claiming that a man had stabbed him on the trail and stolen his bag.

New York authorities began examining Quesen’s potential involvement in Frament’s murder due to his violent history and transient lifestyle, which includes travel across multiple states. While there is no hard evidence tying him to the April killing, investigators are actively seeking witnesses who may have seen him in the Menands area around the time of Frament’s murder.

Quesen is currently facing charges for Brallier’s homicide, with a preliminary hearing scheduled for April 25. Meanwhile, New York State Police have urged anyone with information about Frament’s case to come forward, emphasizing that Quesen remains only a person of interest at this time.
