School of Rock Stars Caitlin Hale and Angelo Massagli Tie the Knot
Caitlin Hale and Angelo Massagli, beloved for their roles as Marta and Frankie in the 2003 film School of Rock, have officially tied the knot. The couple, who began dating in 2016, celebrated their wedding at the Chateau Grande Hotel in East Brunswick, New Jersey.
The joyful occasion was attended by several School of Rock costars, including Rivkah Reyes (Katie), who shared a video from the event on TikTok on January 5. Set to Stevie Nicks’ “Edge of Seventeen,” the clip featured castmates dancing and enjoying the celebration. Reyes, who played the bass player Katie, captioned the video, “Celebrating the marriage of CAITLIN & Angelo with my forever fam #schoolofrock #wedding,” giving fans a glimpse of the reunion.
In the fun-filled TikTok, Hale and Massagli posed in a photobooth with their former castmates, including Brian Falduto, Joey Gaydos Jr., Robert Tsai, Maryam Hassan, Aleisha Allen, and Cole Hawkins. The wedding also paid homage to the movie with the song choice, referencing a memorable moment when Joan Cusack’s Principal Mullins drunkenly sings “Edge of Seventeen” in the film.
Hale and Massagli’s relationship started years after the movie’s release. They reconnected in 2016 when Massagli learned Hale was moving to Florida, where he was living at the time. “The rest is history,” Hale said. The couple began dating shortly after meeting up for lunch and drinks, maintaining a strong bond through their shared School of Rock memories.
While Hale and Massagli have largely stepped away from acting, they have found fulfilling careers outside of Hollywood. Hale works as an OB-GYN ultrasound technologist, and Massagli graduated from the University of Miami School of Law in 2019.
Their life together has been full of love and support. Hale has openly shared how Massagli stood by her during two surgeries for endometriosis. The couple’s engagement, celebrated with a glamorous photoshoot, further solidified their strong and enduring partnership.
