Trump, in Washington D.C. for Carter’s funeral on Thursday, expressed his excitement about returning to Congress, remarking it was “great” to be back. “We must Secure our Border, Unleash American Energy, and Renew the Trump Tax Cuts, which were the largest in history,” Trump stated. He also vowed not to impose taxes on tips, promising that any shortfall would be covered by tariffs on countries he claims have taken advantage of the U.S. for years.
