Massive Kentucky Drug Bust: Three Arrested After Troopers Find Pounds of Meth, Cocaine & Indoor Grow Setup

Authorities in Kentucky have arrested three people following a major drug bust in the early hours of February 3. According to the Kentucky State Police, officers executed a search warrant at a home in Utica, located on East Harmons Ferry Road near the Daviess and McLean County line. What they found inside was shocking.

Officers discovered pounds of methamphetamine, cocaine, psilocybin (a hallucinogenic drug), marijuana, and other controlled substances. Along with the drugs, they also seized scales, drug paraphernalia, and even an indoor cultivation setup for growing marijuana.

Three people were taken into custody as a result of the raid.

44-year-old Edward J. Morris, a resident of Utica, was arrested on multiple serious charges, including drug trafficking, possession of controlled substances, and having a firearm as a convicted felon. He also faces charges related to violating a Kentucky Emergency Protection Order, meaning there was a history of legal restrictions against him.

33-year-old Keisha L. Morris, also from Utica, was arrested and charged with several drug-related offenses, including trafficking methamphetamine, cocaine, and hallucinogens, as well as cultivating marijuana.

20-year-old Case B. Layson from Livermore was the third person arrested. He is facing similar charges to the others, including drug trafficking and wanton endangerment.

Following their arrests, all three suspects were taken to the Muhlenberg County Detention Center in Greenville. Authorities say the investigation is still ongoing, meaning more details could emerge as they continue to gather evidence.
