A small Vermont town is grappling with unsettling news.
Authorities in Lyndonville have arrested a 70-year-old resident, Edward Cram, on serious charges related to alleged crimes against a child.
The Vermont State Police say the investigation began on February 3rd after a mandated reporter raised concerns. This led to Cram’s arrest, and he now faces multiple charges, including:
- Two counts of lewd and lascivious conduct with a child
- Three counts of sending indecent material to a minor in their presence
- One count of child luring
Cram is currently being held at the Northeast Correctional Complex and is scheduled to appear in court tomorrow.
This case serves as a reminder of the importance of vigilance in protecting vulnerable members of our community.
