EXCLUSIVE: Teen Killed in Tulsa Shooting, Another Arrested After Gunfire Shattered Apartment Window

A 17-year-old boy tragically lost his life after gunfire was sprayed through a bedroom window at a Tulsa apartment complex early Saturday morning. Adavion Herring, the victim, was struck by multiple bullets while inside his apartment at the Brighton Park apartments, located at 4847 S. Darlington Ave.

Tulsa police responded to the scene around 2 a.m. and found Herring dead from gunshot wounds. Authorities reported that several rounds were fired, including .45 and 9mm calibers, leaving shell casings at the crime scene. Remarkably, three other people inside the apartment at the time were unharmed.

Witnesses described seeing two male suspects in the area before the shooting. Based on their testimony, Siion Ferguson, 17, was identified as the primary suspect. On Saturday afternoon, police located Ferguson and another juvenile boy in an Uber near 4300 S. Memorial Drive. A .45-caliber Glock and a 9mm Glock handgun were recovered from the vehicle.

Ferguson has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder, while police continue to investigate the second juvenile’s involvement in the incident.
