A man has been arrested after a shooting incident in Sparks, Nevada.
The incident happened on Portneuf Drive just before 5:30 p.m. Police say the suspect, 43-year-old Brandon Christiansen, was under the influence of alcohol when he fired a shotgun at a vehicle that was occupied at the time. Several children were nearby when it happened, but fortunately, no one was hurt.

Christiansen has been taken into custody and now faces multiple charges, including:
- Five counts of child endangerment
- Possession of a firearm while intoxicated
- Discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle
- Unlawful discharge of a firearm
