The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office (MDSO) reported that the incident occurred on Saturday morning near the intersection of Northwest 103rd Street and 22nd Avenue. Events unfolded around 10 a.m. when a license plate reader alerted an MDSO deputy to a stolen vehicle speeding through the area of Northwest 32nd Avenue and 62nd Street.

Upon receiving the notification, the deputy promptly contacted MDSO’s Aviation Unit to monitor the vehicle’s movements from the air. Moments later, the stolen vehicle collided with a civilian car, bringing the pursuit to an abrupt and violent conclusion.

Emergency services swiftly arrived at the scene. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue units transported both drivers to Jackson Memorial Hospital for medical treatment. The civilian driver, who sustained injuries from the crash, was admitted to the Ryder Trauma Center. Both individuals were reported to be in stable condition as of the latest update.

Deputies recovered the stolen vehicle at the scene of the crash. Investigators are now handling the case, which includes both the recovery of the stolen vehicle and the circumstances leading to the collision.
