Authorities in Washington, D.C., are urgently seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in a violent shooting in Northwest early Sunday morning.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, the incident unfolded on February 23, 2025, at approximately 2:36 a.m. when officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 1300 block of Connecticut Avenue, Northwest. Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered an adult male victim, conscious but suffering from gunshot wounds. He was quickly transported to a local hospital for emergency treatment.
Shortly after, police were alerted to a second victim—another adult male—who had arrived at a hospital with gunshot wounds. Investigators later confirmed that both individuals had been injured in the Connecticut Avenue shooting.
Surveillance footage captured images of the suspect, and authorities have released a photo in hopes of identifying the individual.

Officials are urging anyone with information about this shocking act of violence to come forward. However, witnesses should not attempt to approach the suspect. Instead, they are encouraged to call the Metropolitan Police Department at (202) 727-9099 or anonymously text tips to 50411.
A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for any information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
