NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Metro Nashville Police Department has arrested a woman accused of being an accomplice in a January shooting that left a woman injured.
22-year-old Alexus McCord was taken into custody Thursday night by TITANS Unit detectives at her home. Authorities say McCord drove 21-year-old Yanathan Furline, the alleged shooter, to an apartment complex on Brentridge Circle on January 31 to purchase marijuana from the 23-year-old victim.
During the exchange, the victim was shot in the thigh and transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where she was treated and later released.
Furline was arrested earlier this month on February 5, while McCord now faces multiple charges, including facilitation of attempted homicide, especially aggravated robbery, felony weapon possession, reckless endangerment, and marijuana possession, according to police.
She is currently being held on an $81,000 bond as the investigation continues.
