The caller, concerned about the man’s condition, told the operator he wasn’t moving and might need urgent medical help. When officers arrived at the car wash on the 1200 block of Bellemeade Drive, they discovered the man had been shot. Sadly, he was pronounced dead right there at the scene.
Authorities have identified the victim as 59-year-old Daniel Lanard Richardson Jr., a resident of Marietta. Now, investigators are piecing together the events that led to this heartbreaking moment.
