WICHITA, Kan. – Authorities are investigating a brutal attack in southeast Wichita after a man was found shot and stabbed Monday night. According to the Wichita Police Department, officers responded to a call around 7:30 p.m. in the 6500 block of East Morris Street, near Lincoln and Woodlawn. Upon arrival, they discovered a man suffering from both a gunshot wound and a stab wound. He was immediately transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
