Las Vegas, NV – A chilling act of violence in Downtown Las Vegas has left a woman dead after she was shot while sitting inside a vehicle early Saturday morning.
Las Vegas Metro Police responded to the 400 block of 11th Street near Lewis Avenue around 2:35 a.m. following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found a woman inside a vehicle suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Tragically, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to investigators, the victim had been sitting in the car with a friend when two men walked past them. Moments later, gunfire erupted, striking the woman. Authorities have not released details on possible suspects or a motive behind the shooting.
