In a shocking development, embattled rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs was transported from his New York City prison cell to a hospital after complaining of a knee injury. The 55-year-old music mogul, who has been detained since September on sex-trafficking charges, was taken from Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center to a nearby medical facility on January 30. Sources revealed that Combs underwent an MRI scan for a pre-existing injury before being returned to his prison cell a few hours later.
Combs was indicted in September 2024 on charges including sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty to the allegations. Since his arrest, at least 40 plaintiffs have filed lawsuits against the mogul, accusing him of sexual assault and misconduct. The latest claim, filed in January 2025, accuses Combs of drugging and sexually assaulting a 16-year-old high school student.
According to the lawsuit, the teen was walking home from a babysitting job in New York when Combs allegedly convinced her to get into his vehicle, claiming it was unsafe for her to walk alone. Once inside, the teen claims she was assaulted by Combs and another man, both of whom are referred to as “John Doe” in the lawsuit.
Combs’ legal team has consistently denied the allegations, stating that despite the numerous lawsuits, he has never sexually assaulted or trafficked anyone. They further emphasized their confidence in prevailing in court, stating that the judicial process would reveal the truth.
