Two teenagers were among three people shot in two separate incidents inside bodegas in New York City on Sunday evening, according to the police.
The first shooting took place around 7:45 p.m. at a deli on the corner of Amsterdam Avenue and 92nd Street in Upper Manhattan. A 16-year-old boy was shot in the stomach, and another man, whose age wasn’t confirmed, was shot in the hip. Both victims were taken to the hospital but are expected to recover.
The suspect was described as a man wearing all black.
Less than two hours later, around 9:30 p.m., another shooting occurred at a deli on Sutter Avenue in East New York, Brooklyn. A 16-year-old boy was targeted and shot in the arm, hand, and groin. He was also hospitalized and is in stable condition.
The suspect in this incident was described as a man wearing all gray.
Both of these shootings follow a similar attack earlier in the week when six people were injured in a Bronx deli shooting, where a mother and her 12-year-old daughter were caught in the crossfire.
