30-Year-Old Man Arrested in Connection to WSU Greek Row Homicide

Authorities in Pullman, Washington, have arrested a 30-year-old man in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred near Washington State University’s Greek Row last December.

Jorge Rigo Amezcua was taken into custody on Thursday and faces charges of second-degree murder and possession of a controlled substance. The Pullman Police Department confirmed the arrest in a news release on Friday.

At approximately 3 a.m., 28-year-old Darcy Spracklin was found unresponsive in the 800 block of Northeast California Street, near the Sigma Chi fraternity house. Investigators determined that he had been shot. Emergency responders transported him to Pullman Regional Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
